ARV ARTS ACADEMY

Overview

ARV Arts Academy provides high-quality music and theatre education to students throughout the Arkansas River Valley. We believe great arts education is built not only on excellent instruction, but also on kindness, encouragement, and meaningful relationships with students and families.

As ARV Arts Academy continues to grow, we are seeking talented and dependable specialized content Instructors to join our team. We welcome instructors from a variety of backgrounds and specialties who are passionate about teaching and genuinely care about the students they work with.

Instructors with previous teaching experience or an existing private studio are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in the applicant's specialized content area

• Kind, patient, encouraging, and respectful approach to working with students

• Genuine interest in helping students grow both as performers and individuals

• Dependable, professional, and organized

• Strong communication skills with students and families

• Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages, abilities, and experience levels

• Previous teaching experience is preferred

• Collegiate, professional, or significant performance experience is preferred

• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and required facility training modules

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality specialized content instruction

• Create a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment for every student

• Prepare instruction appropriate for each student's experience level and goals

• Help students develop musicianship, confidence, and performance skills

• Build positive relationships with students and families

• Maintain professional communication with students and families

• Follow ARV Arts Academy policies and facility expectations

• Participate in recitals and other educational opportunities when applicable

Schedule

Teaching opportunities are based on instructor availability, student enrollment, and program needs.
